You have seen the viral videos. Someone uploads a normal selfie and seconds later it looks like a professional studio portrait. No Photoshop skills. No expensive software. Just one free AI trick.
In this guide, I will show you exactly how to do the AI Photo Trick using ChatGPT in 2026. This is the same method I used in my viral video, and it works for anyone.
What Is the AI Photo Trick?
The AI Photo Trick uses ChatGPT's image generation to transform your ordinary photos into professional-quality portraits. Upload your photo, give the right prompt, and the AI reimagines you in a completely new style — professional headshot, cinematic portrait, studio lighting, and more.

The prompts below (copy-paste ready)
Step-by-Step: The AI Photo Trick
1Upload Your Photo to ChatGPT
Open ChatGPT, click the attachment (+) button, and upload a clear front-facing photo of yourself. The better the original lighting, the better the result.
2Use This Professional Headshot Prompt
Copy and paste this prompt:
Transform this photo into a professional corporate headshot. Keep the same face, same person, same identity. Studio lighting, blurred professional office background, sharp focus, high resolution, photorealistic.
3Try the Cinematic Portrait Style
For a dramatic look:
Transform this into a cinematic portrait photograph. Dramatic warm lighting, shallow depth of field, bokeh background, film photography aesthetic, ultra detailed, same face and identity preserved.
4Download and Share
ChatGPT will generate the transformed image in 30-60 seconds. Download it and compare — the difference is incredible.
